A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of taking family portraits for my college friend and his family. We met in Dumbo, Brooklyn for a photo session just before sunset in early December. The light was MAGIC. Here are a few favorites from the session. Thanks Igor and Lana!

20 Best Photos of 2014
According to Lightroom, I took well over ten thousand photos in 2014. It wasn't easy to narrow those down to my 20 favorite photographs, but I gave it my best shot. I hope you enjoy them.
Here's to many more photo-worthy moments in 2015. Happy New Year!
A Visit to Blue Ledge Farm in Middlebury, Vermont
Last weekend we took a road trip through Vermont. On our way through Middlebury, we stopped to visit Blue Ledge Farm. The owner, Hannah Sessions, was kind enough to show us around the cheese cave, and tell us about their farm. Fortunately for us, the goats were in the middle of "kidding season" and we got to meet some of the farm's newest cheese makers. Check out Blue Ledge Farms to learn more about their amazing cheeses (including a Maple Chevre that you could eat with a spoon) and find out where to buy it.
The Road to Ravello
In June 2013, we visited the scenic mountaintop town of Ravello on Italy's Amalfi Coast. To reach Ravello, you take a bus from Sorrento which winds you around hairpin turns at the tops of cliffs with far too little concern for oncoming traffic if you ask me. Fortunately, we survived the ride, and didn't hit a single scooter driver.
All photos were taken with the Fujifilm X100s and XPro 1.

Tusancy - Pienza and Montalcino
Back in June, I took an 11 day trip around Italy, mostly with cameras pressed against my face. By mid 2015, I may be finished editing all the photos from it. In the meantime, here are some favorites from Day 2. We rented a car and drove from Rome to Siena with some stops in Tuscany along the way. Here are a few shots from the towns of Pienza and Montalcino.
All photos were taken with the Fujifilm X100s and XPro 1.

Snow, snow and more snow
As of this morning, New York is having its 8th snowiest winer on record (54 inches). This storm that swept through town on Wednesday gave us about eight more inches of the white stuff. Here are some shots from the morning commute to work.
All photos were taken with the Fujifilm X100s.
